About Foodie Scanner

If you are interested in a healthy lifestyle, you can scan the ingredients written on meal labels to find out what meal additives (E-numbers) they include and info about these E-numbers. All with the support of your phone's camera, used as a scanner and label checker.

- You don't need an internet connection to check the meal labels after the download of the app.
- You have an unlimited number of scans.

To use it simply press the Scanner button on the 1st page of the app and take a image of the ingredient list on the desired meal product, then press OK. The ingredient list should be written in English.

Warning: Do not take a image of the barcode on the product label. Take a image of the ingredients space on the meal label. Frame all the ingredients in the image and test to take a clear shot. This way, the app will find the E-numbers in the selected meal product.

In order to differentiate, the "Foodie Scanner" app displays the meal additives in Three colors:

* Red - risky additive;
* Green - harmless E-Number;
* Yellow - Suspicious E-Number, there is not enough information, it may be dangerous.
